Airports
Asheville (AVL) and Charlotte (CLT) are the closest airports to Wildacres / Little Switzerland, NC.
It's a 1 hr 20 min drive from Asheville Regional, and a 2 hr drive from Charlotte International.
Both airports have car rental agencies. We also recommend Turo car rental service.
Parking is free at Wildacres.
There are many curvy and gravel roads in and around Little Switzerland. We recommend SUVs, but cars with good tires are fine too.
